Grandma and Grandpa Thompson visited Kingston Cemetery frequently. Grandpa's Father (and later his mother beside his father) were buried there along with many other relatives from both of their families.
Tiger was Grandpa and Grandma Thompson's dog for as long as I can remember until the late 1980s when he died.

He was a pretty little dog that I remember fondly. He would come and sit on my lap and I would pet him when we visited my grandparents.

  • Her father Claude James Stout died on 6 February 1987 at Springdale Memorial Hospital, Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas.
  • Gwendolyn Stout witnessed the retirement of Crawford Herman "CH" Thompson circa 1995 at RTW, Bentonville, Benton, Arkansas; Grandpa Thompson retired from RTW in the late 1990s when he became too ill to work anymore.

The company gave him a retirement party. He had a cake and they gave him a hat on which the employees had attached money to wish him luck in his retirement.

He had enjoyed the men that he worked with and often talked about the funny stories that each of them would tell while they were working. I think that he missed the company of these men when he retired.
