Survivors include her husband to whom she was married Mar. 6, 1956, of the home; four sons, Carlos Joe Sturdy of the home, Terry Wayne Stout, Calvin Lee Stout and Bobby Jess Stout of the home; one daughter, Patricia Reada Stout of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Blackston of Compton; six brothers, Henry Blackston of Evanston, Wyo., Jimmie, Troy, Tony, and Coy Blackston of Springdale and Earl Ray Blackston of Compton; five sisters, Mrs. Estie Farmer of Hoisington, Kans., Mrs. Elvie Carlisle of Big Bear, Calif., Mrs. Ruby White of Joplin, Mo., and Mrs. Betty Patrick of Springdale; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lizzie Eoff of Compton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Sisco chapel with Rev. Cecil Garrison officiating.
Burial will be in Friendship cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.

SPRINGDALE -- Beverly Gibson, 47, of Springdale died July 17, 2004, at Springdale Health and Rehab. She was born Aug. 11, 1956, in Springdale to Walter James and Essie May Blackston Burks. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, David Gibson of the home, whom she married Dec. 28,1972; two daughters, Jennifer Bean of Lowell and Tammy Landers of Springdale; three brothers, James Burks and Melvin Burks Sr., both of Springdale, and Robert Burks Sr. of Hindsville; two sisters, Wilma Elwin of Springdale and Dianna Thompson of Goshen; nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Bill Williams and the Rev. Larry Tolbert officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Elwin, Marty Elwin, Billy Thompson, Robert Burks Jr., Melvin Burks Jr. and Scotty Burks. Honorary pallbearers will be Dusty Gibson, William McKelvey, Jacob McKelvey, Curtis Thompson, Earl Clampet and Jack Burnett.
Visitation will begin at noon today at the funeral home. The family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.
