Grandma and Grandpa Thompson’s Address Change

Grandma and Grandpa Thompson lived in the same home from the time I can remember until their deaths. They lived in their home on Old Wire Road from the early 1970s. I don’t know the exact year that they moved into the home.

When they moved in their address was 205 Old Wire Road but between 1991 and 1995 their address was changed for the new 911 system that was installed in Springdale. Their new address was 316 Old Wire Road.

This photo was taken in the late 1990s to the early 2000s in the time between Grandpa’s death and before Grandma died in 2006. The Angel statue on Grandpa Thompson’s grave was placed there by Jim and his family. The flowers are some combination of the rest of the family. Until Grandma’s death in 2006, she, with the help from the rest of the family, would put the flowers on the tombstone and the vases.
